....however, just need some advice on pricing please, long story but looking to get a 997 turbo.

Cesil will need to sold to do so and a place near to me has said they'd stick cesil up for sale for me. They've given me a price they'd put it up for but I think it's too much. Reasoning being they said they can take offers lower but can't increase if someone wants it. I know how much I need it to fetch to get into a 997.

Basically I'm after some guidance on pricing.

APs front and rear (only done about 2K mls on them so not worn out)

SS LWR back box and non res centre pipe (2-3 months old)

FSH

New vanos at approx 70K miles

Sub frame done by Elms c/w certificate of repair.

New HG, bottom bearings and oil pump last Aug for preventative maintenance. BMW parts used so 2 yr warranty.

Cup tyres with less than 1K miles use.

Paint in A1 nick with just the obligatory stone chips to front.

All in A1 nick according to Barts.

OEM brake set up (virtually new discs and pads when removed) and oem exhaust avaiable with the car.

Also available with the car is a spare steering wheel and a cf dash trim set (was sold but buyer backed out)

Ideas on pricing more than welcome.

Thanks in advance

P.S Can't currently be more exact on the mileages as not home until Friday to check receipts etc but they're a very close approximation.

moving to a 997 turbo ... make sure thats really what you want ( I came from a modded 996 turbo into the CSL and still have other porsches ) . Personally I'd try and get into a gt3 if its watercooled pork you're after

Way out of my price league unfortunately.

Pops this is kind of where I'm at. 997 turbo next. I wouldn't want tiptronic so it would have to be a manual. Problem is the prices are rising soooo fast. The tip's are hanging about for ages whereas the manuals fly off. Mid 40's is where they were but they are +-50 now. The annoying thing is it takes them close to the starting point of a gen2 PDK turbo @ 60K
I was hoping for mine plus 10k but I don't think it's enough for what I want.

I'd keep your Z1 if possible, prices are rising fast on these, £10k in as many months, I'm keeping mine

I would love to keep it but I can't afford to get a CSL if I do, so it has to go.

On saying that I enjoy driving it, there is a simple honesty to driving a straight 6 manual old world car.

might be worth selling the backbox separately and putting the OE back on - anyone who is unfamiliar with the CSL will be dying to hear the airbox note so the backbox won't add much to the sale and is an easy grand on the 2nd hand market

AP's i'd leave on, big selling point since the OE brakes are terrible

Brian

has had the wobbles and has seen the light

If he sells I'll be a tad surprised.....especially as he spent a small fortune getting the car A1.
