i prefer the new AP discs. PF's don't last as long on track for me.

How many track days can you get out of Ap's V PF?
I prefer PF, mine have lasted longer than AP.

My extensive :) records show they last the same BUT the APS show early sign of crazing and cracking which of you change due to their look would make them last less time

I think it's the J hook design

I need some new pads, who's the cheapest and what should I go for? I think I have 5575 front calipers...
Fast road with a couple of trackdays here and there.

Mmmm, how do you tell the difference between the early signs (and nothing to worry about) and 'needs replacing' ?
There might have been a previous thread on this topic.....

On discs I look out for cracks that reach the outside edge of the disc
On pads I wait until I hear metal scraping together :)

On mine the pf lasted 6 track days and started cracking. Simpsons told me to try the ap which they said was new. Not j hook. So far no crack lines at all after 4 track days. J hooks are very good but I dun know if they make them for 5575 calipers.
So no more Pf for me
