I'm looking at a buying a new Golf R. It has to have black Vienna Leather, 5 doors, DSG, and heated seats, reversing camera and the basic sat nav. No finance needed.
Can anyone recommend a dealer that can make this happen for £30k on the nose. I've got my local dealer in Macclesfield down to £ 31,790 for a cash purchase. Strangely they will do it at £ 30,540 if I take finance?? But I don't want finance, it just costs more in the end. I'm just at a mental barrier of £30k, not a penny more.
So, in summary - if anyone knows anybody in the VW dealership network who wants a new car order for £30k - the order is theirs. I'm based in Cheshire and don't mind travelling a bit (not Lands End, or John O Groats please).
I'm selling 07 RS4 avant - if anyone is interested, it's very tidy.
Many thanks
Simon.

Have you tried drive the deal? Mine was £29k ish without leather. If you order car net you can use your smart phone for navigation.
Worth taking the finance as you get a discount and I believe you can cancel it at anytime on 28 days notice.
Cheers

I tried carwow, they got close, but the dealer then went and bettered it anyway despite me contacting them through carwow.
Interesting point about cancelling the finance after 28 days - I bet they have claw back option written in for the £ 1250 they "give" to you for the deposit. I'll have to read their T&C's now!
The RS4 is an 07, Daytona Grey, black optics, black leather (buckets), winter pack (heated front and rear seats), Bose sound and then all the other usual RS4 items that they all came with as standard. 55,000 miles, FSH (the last couple are good specialists that I know well). Serviced in Jan at 52,000 miles.Had new front discs and pads, and rear pads (rear discs were ok). Had 4 new tyres last month, had all the wheels properly refurbed while the tyres were off (inner and outer rims painted to the same finish), new special order tyre valves from Audi at the same time. Doesn't need any maintenance costs for the next 10,000 miles or so.
I'm fairly OCD about my cars - it's very very tidy, all original paint (measured with paint thickness gauge to prove). There is one scratch on the rear quarter that was there when I bought the car 7 years ago, not done anything with it to keep the paint original - I'm leaving it up to the new owner to decide. I'll try to get some photo's up on the for sale section later.
Asking £ 18,995 which seems about right looking at what is on pistonheads and autotrader at the moment.

But unfortunately £2000 down payment which makes it 12+23 which is not very good
