According to ML FB it's sold already! Can't help but think they priced that too low.

Everyone could see that, suppose that's a good sign all by itself but odd business behaviour
Good God that's cheap !
I'd buy it myself as a daily if I had the cash.
Wonder what adjustment a single sale at that price would mean for the average value metric...

None, as it was sold almost immediately, indicating it was snapped up before the price was adjusted.

I wouldn't be surpised to see it back up for Sale at £40K if it really did go for £35K.
Mind you, ML's Phone would've been ringing of the hook and so someone might have offered say £37K to seal it. Still a bargain in this market...

Oh it is, tbh I don't think there is any other car that even after all the time i've owned my Cecil (over 5.5 years now) that stirs my emotions, I'd love two Cecil's on the drive.
One for weekends and the other a daily / track hack :smt055

It could well be a sound investment

I think I will tax mine from the start of March if the weather is a bit warmer, I'm only in the UK for 3 days in April and can't bear the thought of having to wait until May.

I used to use mine as a daily for 2.5 years, the past 3 years, I seem to do less and less miles, Cecil is asleep, waiting for the sunshine so he can come out to play.
I'll just fizz around in the crappy M5 which is a dinosaur fuel monster instead

V10 e60 or V8 e39 ??? Or I suppose it could be the e34 6 cylinder. I would have loved an e60 but no manual (unless from the USA) and too many electrics put me off.

Wish it was a E34 tbh, love them, though i'd probably choose an E34 Alpina B10 Bi Turbo, they always looked animal to me.
I rock about in my E60 M5, I do like it, the engine is amazing, sounds amazing (few choice mods), though the gearbox is sh1te, and the CCC navigation system is clunky.
I'm waiting for the day the gearbox explodes and I have to take out a small mortgage to repair it, though just glad I had the opportunity to own a V10 outside a real supercar imo.

Yes that is the only problem, running costs. Maybe you could look at getting it converted to a manual (assuming you want a real driver's car  ). I wonder how many are still used regularly. Now has to be the time with petrol so cheap.
Good luck with it.
