Thought I'd share
After a renewal quote of £418 including Euro breakdown and legal cover I rang around. I'm with Classicline. Last year value was set at £25k. This year I've put it at 35k value. This put Classicline up to £456.
Adrian flux came in at £383 with euro breakdown and 35k value. So I put the emailed quote to Classicline and they have matched the quote. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 They want another £20 for an agreed value which lasts for 2 years.
For a 36 year old I'm quite chuffed with that.

That's a good quote & sensible Agree value :smokin: Well played Sir
IMHO Classic line are a better choice CSL insurance of the two
FYI you can save the £20 by getting an independent valuation from a BMW garage / Club or Specialist Motor trade which you then forward via e.mail to C.L. with 6 pix of your Cecil IIRC.

Agreed value a little low IMO
£45K would be needed to replace her should the unmentionable happen.

To be honest Matt it seems the easiest way to do it for me. Cars tucked away at the mo. £20 and pics is easy. Cheers though. They have said to fill the forms in and send back via post but I can email the pictures.
Regards the value . It's in top condition now and fbmw history. But 114k. Tricky price point . It's still a decent figure. But your right to replace it tomorrow I'd struggle at that price :banghead:
Went with Flux last year as I needed someone to reflect my full no claims on my other car.
Robbing gits! They charged me £60 for an agreed value.
Classic Line quote that will need confirming 30 days prior to renewal is 50% of Flux

No harm in pushing CL to raise your agreed value.
£20 squid and a few iphone pics :smokin:

It's exactly what I was implying in my previous replay mate ;)
The real nightmare with Flux begins if you're unfortunate to have to make a claim with them :banged: Their poor reputation is well documented online :clown:

The 114K mileage shouldn't effect the agreed value too much. At the end of the day it's still effectively below average mileage for a 13 year old car and it's not as if CSLs are as fragile as the Red Racing Fiats ;)
The way I see it with agreed value is... if the worst were to happen tomorrow what's out there at present that would be comparable on condition & provenance as a replacement :smokin:

I think I'm right in saying Classicline are one of the only company's to offer the use of NCB on a classic policy. Plus you earn NCD with them 👍🏼

Perhaps I should clarify, I don't need to use NCB with RH Classics, do Classicline offer the same ?
Gazza
CL are the same, no NCB asked for.

When I was with RH classics, they wouldnt retain my NCB so it'd expire after two years.
Classic line allow NCB retention.
