Couldn't find the advert but the reg rings a bell. If it's the car I think I see it at Elms a couple of months ago and then bumped into it at the shell garage on the A1, chap called Keith, he said he was selling up for a 997 Turbo. Looked a very nice example on 39k miles if I remember.

Yes it was the same car. How much is it up for?

Yep

Damian was doing an AUC pre purchase check on behalf of a potential buyer back in late summer.

I think this car made it to the shortlist but it was Billy's car that sold in the end.

If you have read Quentin Wilson's CSL buying advice in this months edition of Classic and SportsCar (?) you'd think this car a steal (I'm not joking).

Looks like a great car at the right price. Wait till spring or mid summer and this could well seem like a bargain.

Does that instantly make the lowest possible value of a CSL £49999?

Forum Bias!!

I love it

You may be right but I still feel the csl still suffers from mileage:price sensitivity

Billy's CSL was mint with around 50K miles and sold a few weeks back for mid fifties sterling.

I still think a 100K csl will struggle to make 40K+ unless its exceptional in every way.
I'm certain 2016 will reveal all.

I quite fancy an 8 series or a 190E Cosworth, both are still sensible money.
