Wow, what a lot of pointless horse shit! So basically it's:

The colour red is shit, overrated and expensive. I prefer the colour green and brown. Anyone who likes red is shit, wrong and seriously deluded. Is anyone with me on this? Please back my opinion up because I need to know everyone thinks I'm right..........................blah, blah, blah.

Seriously, WTF????

One post advocates "an opinion on the csl can be justified despite the author of the post having never driven one"

I agree with Yanto's sentiment of live and let live but surely a wine taster can't reasonably define a blend without having a swig.

I can only put all these opinions down to a group of drivers who are a bit miffed that the csl is at last being valued in the market place and they've all missed the boat.

We have all known this for some time.

Coonts.....makes me chuckle threads like that. Op clearly is unable to use a forum posting this and other BMW threads in wrong section.

The Pistonheads forum really is just the worst these days. Talk about Mumsnet for men.

Don't get me started on the Porsche crowd who have now taken to driving and reviewing each others cars. It's a complete circle jerk. :smt008

I second this - I didn't "get it" until we had our little jaunt through the Welsh countryside.

It's pointless waffling on about a car until you've put it to the purpose it was designed for. All credibility for the OP went (if it hadn't already) when he said the E9x V8 was a better car - that said everything, absolutely everything. Most of the rest is Ministry of the Bleedin' Obvious to be honest.

I think the OP had a CSL though didn't he? Did he pedal it? I've always said ownership of one of these beasts is pointless unless you're not going to push it, you'll get nothing but a back back from it otherwise (although I have to eat my words a bit on the investment value thing).

All of a sudden CSLs seem woefully under-priced:

Ford Escort RS - £60,000

That CorvetteConvert likes his own opinion.

So much so he's desperately trying to make it "Gospel" :clown:
IMHO here's how I see/read it ... he obviously & very clearly bought the WRONG car :banghead: didn't do his research before the purchase and now blames the car for his own laziness & stupidity  What a 24 carat Numb Nut :clown:

Check out the M section, transmission shunt/snatch. Mr Corvette must be the most balanced person ever with a chip on both schoulders.
