My younger brother had his 1 series wrapped by a company with didn't do that bad job, but when I visited them to ask a few questions regarding fitting a paint protection film on my car, that I bought pre cut for the csl, I thought not impressed but don't judge a book by its cover. Anyway, dropped the Carr off, told them I'm very fussy with my cars, please look after it, and I'd like it back tonight, as I don't want the car to stay there. To cut a long story short, I got there just as they were fitting the secton on the bonnet. I notice something underneath the film, I say, what's that? He says soap I think. I say, that's not soap, take it off! I discover a deep to the primer, a 7 inch scratch, and he wanted 400 odd to fit it, with me suppling the film. U can imagine the words that were used afterwards. Do u really go near a pristine condition car with a screwdriver or scalpel?? Makes my blood boil!!

He's Paying to respray the bonnet, body shop wants £380. And that's a price for me. The wrappers thought that was too expensive to respray a bonnet. I said you have to pay whatever they quote, as I didn't ask to get my bonnet scratched while trying to protect it.:banghead:

Sorry to read that...

It's getting difficult to find people working well nowadays.
