Hi all
I'm looking to build a track car out of a BMW 635csi
Iv got the chance to buy a wide arch race car shell
And going to get a donor car and swap all the
Bits I want over, problem being all 635's seem to be auto
Boxes if I bought a donor car with a auto box in it would it be a massive
Pain to convert it over to manual ????
I'm not quite sure how much of a job it is ???
Saying that I'm a massive amateur mechanic so any job is a big one
But I'm looking to do this over time.
Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers

You forgot the pain, mentally and physically :bigcry: I've just spent the last 3 days cleaning a shell up, 2 more days to go before I have to go back to work, it doesn't look like I've done anything :bigcry: my body is in bits :bigcry:

I like both :smokin:
Sorry to jump on this but what are people's thoughts on best race car colours.
This is original shell that I'm scrapping. Not sure if I should do the same or change it.

I've got a few others but it's not letting me post them up.
McLaren orange pearl
A Porsche apple green colour
Or a more modern yellow as on the Megane RS250 with more modern Renault stickers

I did see similar on a Clio but didn't fancy a wrap Shimmy. Parts on the old shell were wrapped by a blind man...
