Does anybody by any chance know who supplies the OEM rear springs to BMW?

Another favour to ask. Can someone who has ever had rear springs replaced and still has the invoice tell me what part number was on your invoice.

Real OEM is up to shit and BMW say the wrong part number is listed in their catalog (same source as Real OEM so makes sense). They now claim that the CSL uses 'standard E46 springs', which I find hard to believe. I thought maybe same as 'Standard M3 springs', but Real OEM does not even have part numbers listed for those, so I can't compare.

Someone needs better training with parts search at that dealership.

Cheers Tom, but that doesn't help. The problem is they are saying that part (the 632) is wrong in ETK / Real OEM.

I think it is right, but I want some one who has an invoice, and driven their car with the springs listed on their invoice, to confirm it.

Cheers Tom,

OK, the number must be correct then (or everyone has been given the wrong springs the past few years!). I'll order these then.

Is there a supplier listed on the packaging anywhere?

Unfortunately no supplier part number on there anywhere. They aren't that expensive from BMW directly really so I presume the savings would be minimal if you could even get it directly from the supplier (probably Sachs, Lemforder, Luk or one of those related companies).

Yeah, BMW didn't have any, thats the only reason I wanted the supplier. Got a set now though....cheers!
