Takes me back, I had one identical to this before I got the CSL. Great car, P698PLM was the original plate.

Woohoo. Agreed to buy this this morning. There are a list of things I want to do to it, but it looks like a sound car. Picking up next month. I feel like a kid with a new toy :)

Fantastic value for money in today's market. Still useable and yet to suffer from investment/garage queen syndrome.

I've a lot of nostalgia for my old Atlantis Blue E36 M3 Coupe. In fact, these days I think I'd prefer to have a nice E36 M3 than a cooking E46 M3, good ones are very rare now.
Although my old one still lives on, the bloke who owns it has just dropped an S54 in it, so it's not quite original any more...

Can't wait to see the progress, nice little toy to tinker with over the winter.
I'll try and pop over on the day you pick it up from Malcolm, claim my free cup of tea off him for my finders fee ;)
If you need a lift on the day to go get it, pm me and we'll sort something out.

I set off with my 6 year old lad at 7:20 this morning. One bus, two trains and a trip on the underground later we were in Horsham by midday. The owner picked us up and took us back to his house. A cup of coffee, some paperwork, and some money swapping later, tax bought online and the car jump started (flat battery after sitting for three weeks), and we were on our way.
4 hours and two pitstops later we are back at home. The car drives really nicely and looks great. I am not going to push it until I have done the VANOS seals and big-end bearings, and fitted ARP rod bolts. Plenty of little jobs to be done but nothing else major. It cruises so nicely. I am really happy with it and it was a very pleasant transaction.
