I now have my BMW M3 CSL back from the dealer after 22 months waiting for an engine,
it is black with 89524 miles on bodywork and chassis.
It has had a brand new
Engine and air box (£18k) fitted at 89000 miles
Clutch (£850)
Front and rear brake discs ,Calipers and pads (£3995.00)
Rear shoes (£100)
Battery (£120)
Rear shocks and springs (£849.00)
Aircon dryer and recharge (£350)
engine belts (£150)

Bumper ,2no wings, bonnet ,wheel arches respray ,professional detail and 4no Alloy refurbishment with new bolts, badges and decals (£4295.00)

It also has had an Inspection 2 service and a brand new MOT.(£900)
The car has full BMW service history and has been under warranty all of it's life from which I have a list some 14 pages long of all the items that have been fitted to the car.
The engine was fitted under warranty.
It has also had the rear chassis and floor changed under warranty 22 months ago (a problem that's found on all CSL's) and the year before SMG 2 gearbox parts and firm ware upgrade.

SMG pump has been replaced so buy with confidence!

The car would be ideal as a collectors piece.

There's also marks on the carbon fibre between the rear seats.

A quote from an article on pistonheads.

' CSLs have been going up and up since bottoming out at around £25K a few years back.
There aren't any below £30,000 now with low mileage cars comfortably above £40,000;
indeed, those hoping to grab a CS fairly cheaply will be disappointed
as rising CSL values have pulled the former up to c. £20K '.

See original link below.

http://www.pistonheads.com/regulars/...-spotted/32490

I am looking for £38495.00 ovno.

If you are interested in the car then please contact me on 07989 852466

If I sell it Then I will required £200 deposit by Paypal and the balance at collection.

CSL register and Pistonheads is the only place this car is on sale ,if it appears on Freeads or Gumtree or even down your local corner shop it will be a scam.
Thanks for taking the time to view.

Regards Jim

The dealer keeps the old engines when swapped out under warranty :)

The old engine and carbon airbox had to go back to BMW ,it's a shame because I could have made some extra pocket money selling the spares.

To tell the truth because BMW have had the pleasure of my CSL for the past 2 years I have been a traitor and gone the Audi S4 2.7 Bi turbo tuned route along with the Family Audi S8 and an Audi A3 2.0TFSI with 265 BHP 6 pot 360mm brakes and F1 paddles.

Good clutch of Audi's finest.

A mate of mine is picking up his RS3 in Sep/Oct

Had a test drive earlier in the year.

Epic!!!
