Does the CSL have the passenger mirror drop when reverse is selected?

If it does, mine isn't working LOL. If it doesn't, I assume it was one of the weight saving measures?

yep mine folds in R

sometimes it doesnt work if your folding mirror button is turned to the right instead of left.

Ah, mine is switched to the right (as per the standard M3 manual). Will see if turning to left changes anything.

I spent 25 hours last night trying to get it to dip, but with no success. Even hitting both the switch and mirror repeatedly with a hammer made no difference (but broke both the switch and glass :( ). I thought it might be a problem with the gearbox, so removed that, stripped it all down and replaced the reversing switch for one from a normal M3. However, until I replace the items damaged by the hammer, I am not sure if I have been successful.

I am wondering of I now fit the switch and mirror lens from a normal M3 if this will then work as it states in the manual.

Shimmy, if you can suggest anything I may have missed, I would be eternally grateful :banghead:.

Buy a Noble or Cossie then even if it has dipping mirrors you will know that they would have broken along time ago. :)
