View Full Version : Smart car.
Anyone on here had a Smart?
Looking at a Smart Four Two as a runabout. Don't need anything fancy as won't be doing long journeys in it, dirt cheap to run and easy to find a parking space.
Any experience of them?

I had 1 for 6 months last year, strange to drive at 1st but great fun once you're used to it not rolling over, parking is great:smokin:
Thanks for that.
Home on Saturday so looking at one or two Sunday.

Bit of a left-field choice isn't it? What makes you want one of those?
I have a little Ford Puma for shopping and generally-leave-everywhere duties, it's ace and only cost a grand. I even treated it to some Pilot Sport 3s!

Charging would be the problem as it'll be parked on the road and, dependant on space, not necessarily close by.

Just fancy one tbh.
Parking can be a nightmare at times. Live in a area with cottages built around 1840 with road widths to suit and the thing with a Smart is the flexibility with parking with it being so small.
Have a garage but Cesil lives in there and we don't have a drive.
That's why the GP had to go. It was a liability parked on a narrow road and forever trying to find a safe spot.

Too expensive though.
£4k max.
