2 x Black CSL at the Ring

Here's a new one of 2 SB CSLs doing a lap of the Ring in convoy. It makes a change to be able to see a CSL in shot all the time as well as the usual cockpit view. :smt023

Not exactly mega quick, considering that they have a nice clear and dry track... It must be the case that SG ones are faster... :smt037

they're not claiming to be expercts so i will let them off :hahaha: can't help but wish i was driving as i watch it. i am sitting here talking the lap.. turn there, accelerate now, now god dam it!!!! :hahaha:

I know, I couldn't help picking fault when i watched it - really pants slow uphill section to Klostertal. I think the guy in front was a Ring Noob! :smt053

Car in front is not hot at all on his lines or speed. Camera car does better and would have been far quicker.

Just gotta love the noise. Makes me want to get mine out the garage every time I hear one.

The guy behind was clearly faster, but I think the bloke in front knew his way around, he was never caught out by a section. 8:45 BTG isn't bad for a TD, perhaps they were on road tyres and std brakes! :whistle:

He was braking a little early and feathering alot, but I expect they enjoyed it and as the came back in one piece, that was the main thing!

i was a bit surprised to find my video here, but well, that's what happens with videos today. the find their way to friends, then youtube, then everywhere.

to answer your questions:

- both cars are from the area of zürich, switzerland
- we're both n00bs at the nordschleife (i did maybe 20 laps only over the past 5 years)
- we were running on michelin cups, not street tires, and with stock brakes
- we enjoyed it :smokin: despite the fact that swiss ensurance doesn't cover any potential damage or loss on the nordschleife
- SB's are faster, but you need a fast driver to work that out :hahaha: (working on it)

still i hope my video was entertaining enough to not waste your time :thumbs:
