Went out with some mates and we inadvertently buzzed an off-duty police boss who contacted and instructed his minnions to take us down. They held us up for a while then sent us on our way with a warning, nothing more.
The officers were more interested in the cars but i think had been told to "deal" with us.

Well that's the point really, it's nothing more than hearsay from a member of the public but we didn't want to argue too much. The "offenders" were described as two Ferrari and a Porsche - well, the Porker was way behind us three so that was totally wrong anyway. We'd stopped so it could catch up.
No harm done, no points etc but as you say - guilty whether innocent or not.

They can't seize your car without conclusive proof of wrong doing surely? :bigcry:

Good thing you've not shown this to a bunch of people with identical looking cars who could go drifting in your neighbourhood for the best/worst prank ever.

Why are there spelling and grammatical mistakes? You need to correct it with red pen, and send it back as a "C-"

I had this I was on my way on a Sunday night down to Strathclyde park
Came on to the M8 and there was a big line of cars coming so I pressed the loud pedal like you do and was making up ground shall we say all the way up the M8.
When I got to my junction to turn off there was a patrol car on the flyover
I came off and he followed me down to the next junction where an other patrol
car was waiting in the middle of the road to stop me
some off duty twat said I was driving like I stole it and must have drugs in the car after 15min searching the car I was on my way
just because he could not keep up with a CSL :hahaha::hahaha::hahaha:

I had it recently too although I never stayed to get the paperwork,
Came off a roundabout no cars other than a corsa quite a way up the road so gave it a good blast, went past the corsa, turns out it was an unmarked police car, he then caught me up at the next roundabout showed me his badge and shouted at me and asked me 'would you like to explain your speed' I said no and that we were holding up the traffic and drove off.
He had no proof of what I was doing and I wasn't going to let him try and catch me out. Not heard anything so I guess he decided it wasn't worth tracking me down.
