Top three left hooker csl's on www.mobile.de

32,100km advertised at €159,000

29,000km advertised at €135,000

37,000km advertised at €130,000

Even a more frequently used 77,000km car at €110,000

They'll be coming over here next to snap up the Rhd cars as ours are a bargain relatively.

If I was selling I'd be tempted to just advertise on mobile.de anyway

Although the likes of rare LHD Alpina prices have been going nuts on there for a good while too

For not much more, you can buy a 997.2GT3RS - I know where I would put my money.

Current best value car out there - LHD 997.2 GT3

They've been doing that for years already hence why there are only about 200 RHD UK CSLs left in the UK

I had no idea. I guess that should help values here in the long run. I have a mate who has around £35k to blow on a weekend car and I can't think of anything better since the gt3 market went ballistic last year. He wants a porker though, ideally a 996 turbo but he's missed that boat for a reasonable miler so now he's looking at gen 1 997''s. But they'll lose money unlike the csl or turbo.

Cool  should have mentioned you're about in East Anglia today... I would have given you a lift to Stansted as it's relatively local to me (as are Bartlets) Next time bud

When are you collecting the car?

Collected mine from Bartlett's today after having the boot floor repaired
New brake lines, diff seal, front wheel bearings including back plates and a few odds and ends

My 1st real drive back to Kent and my overriding thought is why do people complain about the SMG ? I found it no problem in slow traffic and a blast on the open road
I'm not just saying this but so far for me it's better than a manual and suits the car perfectly and love the blip on the downshift

Now on to the cosmetics
Booked in for Friday at KDS in Gillingham for paint and detailing and wheels are going next door to Lepsons for refurb and new cups

Got a few nice remarks from fellow motorists as I was stuck in traffic at the Blackwall tunnel so all is good in the world

First of all mate CSL is a manual :smokin: it's the clutch that's automated ;) ... and second of all, majority of SMG complainers have never driven the CSL so have no valid opinion on the subject matter :hahaha:
It's rare to hear an actual CSL owner complain about SMG :smokin: if anything most say it actually compliments the whole CSL experience, especially after a day out on Track :supz:
Sure it takes a little while to get your head around it but I've always like the SMG in my CSL, whether it's in heavy London traffic or flying down the Fox Hole @ the Ring. I love it's analogue nature, the clonkiness and the drama it provides in S6 :supz:
Enjoy

Back over for the Silverstone Classic a week on Friday, hopefully with the Cesil set for another 10 years of storage ;)

Thanks Matt, was a bit of a rush job: ferry-drive-drop-train-plane-beer. Back in Dublin now, debating whether more beer is a better alternative to sleep!
