------- SOLD ---------
BMW M3 CSL in Silver Grey.
Full BMW Service History - 61k.
Excellent Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres with 5-6mm all round.
Tracker fitted (but not activated).
2 sets of keys, all Handbooks and service book, brochures etc.

Options.
Xenons, Auto A/C and Climate comfort screen, Rain sensor, parking sensors

Interior.
Excellent condition. The Alcantara has no rips/tears/marks and is in very good condition. For the small cost I probably would have had the wheel re-trimmed but heard talk about the quality at Royal dipping so haven't bothered, I do also like that it’s original.
The Carbon panels are immaculate as are the rear seats. I had the rear centre console refurbished as it had a few very small marks on it which I found annoying – no one is now allowed in the back.
The CSL kick plates have a bit of light milking on them, but nothing bad and are shown in the pictures (not these but the others should you wish to see them)
The dash is unmarked. Both keys are with the car as is a first aid kit and all the spare tyre tools.
The car has been valeted every month or two when it’s not being used throughout the winter and more regularly now it’s warm.

Exterior.
Very good, with only minimal marking on the paintwork. As the weather improved earlier this year I had the front bumper and wings re-sprayed just to rid it of the annoying small stone chips which it had picked up last year. Prior to this it had already been in excellent order, but again it just annoyed me a bit. This also included re-lacquering the carbon splitters and correcting some very slight paint bubbles under the left wing mirror. My aim isn't to create a show car or garage queen. I just like my cars to be as good as is reasonably possible whilst still being able to drive and enjoy them. The paintwork was done about 300 miles ago so there will be a few fresh marks on the front and the splitters.
There are a couple of marks I had missed on the rear bumper when having the touch up work done, I've shown these in the photo's (again not these photo's)

The Wheels were also refurbished.

The car has 61k miles on it and as such cannot be perfect. What you will find is an accurately described and genuine car in excellent condition.

Maintenance.
The service book has all the relevant stamps for running (1219) in/oil and inspection services (all main dealer) and is HPI clear. The CSL wallet and handbooks etc are all present and correct. Service indicator is showing 8475k until the next service.
Mot until April 2016.

The supplying dealer I purchased the car off confirmed that the boot floor was unaffected by any issues. It was due to be inspected by BMW Peterborough this week, when having the airbag recall, but they've run out of airbags so is not currently booked in.

I do genuinely care about my cars and attend to issues as they arise either in the main dealer network or by using very good local people for body work and similar stuff. To my knowledge there are no issues with the car and any inspection is welcome.

No test drives I am afraid, but happy to take serious buyers out.
£36,500.

I'll post a few extra photo's on another post as I could only add 5.

The car has now sold. Thanks to the buyer for a nice easy transaction.

As to the price. I thought it was fair but it may be that I got it a little under judged on the response I've got. Still a quick, straight forward deal is worth something - to me at least.

I must admit though that I've now reassessed the price of my other one which only has 38,000 miles so not all is lost.

Thanks to all who had sent me a message. I literally went with the first person to contact me.

Well done chap! The market's a tough one to judge because on the one hand if a car sells this quickly it looks too cheap, which it may well have been, but then again on rare cars you do get a bunch of people watching the market for new ones, ready to pay the correct price. I put my other car up for sale, had 3 calls in the first three days and absolutely nothing since. Hopefully the guy who came to look at it first will be the one to buy it!

I phoned my mate ("Barney25") within 10 mins of seeing the ad, and he went straight round there last night and bought it .

Nice one Pete

What next??

Now that is a tough question as I honestly do not know. What car offers the value, quality and excitement of the CSL?

Had prices not gone crazy I would have been seriously interested in a Ferrari 400/412 as an old school smoker.

Any suggestions?

A bit left field but the new RS3 is the dogs. residuals will be the norm for a new, non limited run audi but it is a spectacular performer ousting the former RS4 and RS5.

I've just read this back and decided you should go for the Ferrari!!
