4 years without a change of oil isn't the best thing to do,as you know oil degrades if the car is used or not;)
still no worries

the oil was changed in 08 when i bought the car but its not in the book (i wasnt bothered at the time as it wasnt a bmw garage) as for 10-14 thats me having twins and my brain going dead for a while.

Mileage is a massive premium.
If you can validate the oil change between 2010 & 2014
then I can't see an issue.
£50-60K value??

A long time before valve clearance check.

A long time before valve clearance check.
Good point.
9500 miles between valve clearance checks.
Still think the car would sell on mileage alone.

If it's reference selling, it would go on low mileage and IMO the service history is good enough to cover it. I would have had the oil changed every 2 years which would of maximised the resale ££
With such demand for the cars agree it will sell on the mileage alone

This has got me thinking as ours has not had the valve clearences done either.

I've walked away from cars with a similar service history, not the best IMO. But I'm picky - on paper; late inspection 1, missed oil service? and now needs another oil service, to get back on track. ;)
