Does anyone know how to remove the CF diffuser part of the rear bumper?

I just want to get it off so that I can get to the top pop rivet on the tailpipes to remove it as I have a nice set of replacements I was going to fit :-)

As far as i know there are a couple of plastic push rivets on the underside of the diffusor and 2 screws in the middle. Remove those and then gently pry the diffusor out, it is then just held by clips.

Excellent, I shall have a look this evening, it will be a lot simpler to get at the rivets than it was on the Z4 hopefully! I had to spend a while grinding them off with a flexi-drive and a Dremel, the alternative was to remove the bumper!

This. Don't be scared, it needs a bit of a yank. Move from one side to the other.

Just a bit careful as it could be clipped in tight.

Be very scared. Once you have removed the plastic rivits below, there are a series of clips along the top. If it hasn't been off before these will be tighter than a nuns nasty, although they are molded carbon, they can break.

Might be an idea to squirt a bit of silicone spray unto these top clips before commencing battle ;)
As Jay said they are proper tight, a complete bugger to shift and can brake :banghead:

Done, the clips are pretty tight but it came off, not very good photos but here's the new tail pipes...

Easy to swap back now if I don't like them....but I do!

I bought them from CA Automotive back in 2011 but they don't do them any longer, these are the ones:
