A big might but, might look into upgrading the brakes.

Will be mainly to improve the looks as never been a fan of oem stuff.

Are APs the way forward?

Is it also worth doing the tears from a balance point of view?

You will struggle to better AP on quality and performance thats for sure.

I know they're good, have this set up on my R53 GP.

Just thought it may be worth asking ref other options for a CSL.

Plenty of options but the AP is one of the best available with a superb spare backup as im sure your aware already having a set on the GP.

Cheaper end K Sport, D2 then upto Stoptech, AP, Brembo, Alcon.

I will agree with Martin.

I had AP racing and now Brembo.
The Brembos that I have now are better than the AP but the cost is 2x times more and they are not 2 times better.
Maybe they are 5-10% better and that is in the weight and slightly better build quality.
Braking performance is the same !

I think as an overall package of performance, quality, weight and cost, AP Racing is the best.
I wouldn't think twice, just get the APs.

Martin by the way is the guy to sort you out with the AP racing brakes.
A great professional, very knowledgeable and provides consistently great service.
Might sound like I am advertising Martin but he deserves all the credit.

APs for sure - only the fronts needed to sharpen up the junk OEM braking performance and your balance will be fine if you fit decent pads to the OEM rear calipers.

Rear APs compliment the look though :smokin:

AP's as you know are a great aftermarket replacement for oem stoppers.

Not cheap especially when coupled with RS29's

But once you've shelled out on the calipers, replacement discs and pads all round for £1130 approx.

They look great behind bad boy black rims.

TrackM3 AKA Martin is your man for all things aftermarket.

Top bloke, very knowledgeable and first rate service.

AP's all round on mine. I absolutely love them! There's a bit of squeal from the RS29 pads but it's minor and the feel through the pedal is great!

I love my OEM Brakes

I wouldn't know about any other application on our cars other than oem sponge and AP's. I recently installed AP's all around with RS29 pads and all I can say is they are anchors ! Perfect shortened pedal feel, progressive pressure for ease of use in traffic and massive stopping power while you are pushing.
They are a small fortune but well worth it. Our cars should have come from the factory like this.

BBK's are mainly an aesthetic adornment, they look the business.
However mine are still in their box and I run standard with RS29's fitted, no problem - But I don't track it.

Calipers, discs, pads and pipes are much safer where they are - out of temptation.
If I want to see what they look like on, I can always look at Ricks. :hahaha:

Ah. Didn't put BBK and Alcon together. Stop messing around and get them fitted.
