I let her see the sunshine for a change and gave it some stick in S6.
For an almost 12 year old car it is simply EPIC!

True, but €1000 for 6 months of motor tax over here means mine stays in the clink over winter

TBH, the real reason isn't the mad tax, it's more because I hibernate in the pub through the winter instead ;)

A heavily discounted rate of €1809 ;) And will do for another 18 years!
Same as the '93 M5 until it hits 30 years old
It's all designed to force people into buying new cars, which all have an initial "registration" tax of around 30% on the new list price

It's a petrolhead wilderness over here lads, just a sea of new Hyundais and 316ds. We do have some nice driving roads to make up for it though

Cheers. Wouldn't mind but I get the train to work, while all the low tax diesels over here sit in the traffic. But I'm not bitter...much!
