I have always resisted out door car covers, on the basis that unless the car is scrupulously clean they are more likely to do harm than good. It is just another excuse not to use the car.

It helps to keep the main crap off and most weather conditions, so it is always ready for a track day or two

I saw the start of the video, I wondered what the previous owner had done to the car that meant it took two years to strip it all down and clean it, was it in a river?
It does look smart now though. Deserves to be kept indoors.

I have an indoor cover on it and then I planned to place the outdoor cover over that when it's not in the garage that was the plan

It was part of a collection and the owner was very very particular . All his cars were like that incredible enthusiasm. BMW saw the car last week and said it was time warp condition .

I have a BMW outdoor cover, I wouldn't buy one without straps, which counts the bmw out.
Carcoon is very good, better than a garage with the airflow system.
I have bought a outdoor cover from ebay (with straps) for another car and it did just the job. Stormforce or something :smt017
Storm force does get a good write up . Might be the way to go thank you .
