So the summer road-trip this year is a lucky one for you guys, we're coming over to visit! :thumbs: :beer:

After Shimmy giving out to me for not driving my Cesil enough, it's going to be getting its first proper run-out since Munich 2013. There'll be a few of the same individuals in tow, so if anyone fancies coming along for a spin or a pint (of Cointreau :smokin:), here's our plan:

Thurs 23rd July: Holyhead - Northampton
Fri 24th July: Silverstone Classic
Sat 25th July: Manchester (on the lash :partyman:)
Sun 26th & Mon 27th: Isle of Man
Tues 28th: Back to Ireland


After picking the rainiest parts of Europe for the last two summers, we're sticking to the British Isles this year for lots of sun!

Hiya Rick, plan is to get away from Silverstone about 3pm Friday and head north, then out for dinner and a few pints in Manchester. Not checked if there's anything going on Saturday, might go for a spin somewhere if there is, or may just stay put until we all head off on Sunday for the Isle of Man.

Okee dokee - Leave plenty of time if heading Up't Nurth in't rush owr furt wekend but otherwise, a convoy into Manchester's a good thing. Plenty to eat and drink up 'ere.

We'll probably still have a bit of snow in July too.

Thanks Rick, yeah plan is to get a good way up the M6 that Friday before it gets really grid-locked hopefully

Will check back in here closer to the time. Sure head over to the Isle of Man with us all, just tell the missus you won't be back in time for tea 😉

Lads, open to suggestions on the Saturday. There's going to be a group of us about six (various M cars and a mad Mini), so if there's something going on in the area for a bit of a hoon followed by a rave up, could be interested! :thumbs::beer:

Plan is still to do Silverstone Classic on Friday 24th during the day, then up to Manchester for Friday night. Anyone around for that? Think the lads wouldn't mind doing a curry and beers that night

Not sure on plan for Saturday yet, but will probably involve a drink or two at some stage as well
