The M3 CSL is a super rare car in Japan and most are LHD Swiss/German imports despite officially driving on the left in RHD cars, like us in the UK & RoI.
IIRC there were only a hand full of official Japanese speck imports from new. They are very geeky when it comes to specialist German cars, more often then not opting out for LHD over RHD as that's how these car were originally designed. They see RHD Uber German cars as a compromise too far.

 I hope U took at least one pic of it :smt055 as CSLs are a very rare sight in Japan and you were extremely lucky to see one in metal. Even regular E46 M3s are thin on the ground over there.
I'm yet to see one in Tokyo/Japan :banghead: despite visiting every other year, for the past 10 years, for 4 weeks at a time.
This is the closest I've come to seeing one in metal :hahaha:

That's how I felt !

So enough already of it sitting motionless in the garage and me being worried to OCD levels about salt and other people dinging it etc....I just took it out and kept my foot buried from about 2k up to the red-line in third.

Summer is coming

I enjoyed the vid. Nice to see the CSL hold its own against some much more powerful machinery. Wonder if it was on Cups?

Can't beleive that it didn't get past the M5 on lap one and that the Gallardo didn't take the lead straight after!

Wow, great videos guys

I am quite baffled on how the CSL managed to keep up and even staying infront of cars of this calibre.
