Drove one today, felt a bit of clutch slip between 2nd and 3rd, id describe as flare, is this normal? did not feel right to me
also looking at 2 sg in bhp, anyone know the cars and had any dealings with bhp?
also after a motorbike accident few years back, i lost my left arm, so im needing the right paddle to be able to change up and down, ie pull=up shift push=downshift, anybody know anyone who has done this or any ideas on how i can achieve this,
many thanks and help will be greatly appreciated.

it was in fastest setting, the bloke selling said bm said it was normal, but it just didn feel right,
to be honest i knew the car was not for me before i went, confirmed when viewing, drive was fine apart from that slight slip under full revs, but had had a poor paint job along offside. I want to get a feel for as many as i can before i buy the right one for me,
derek your car could be the right one, although im on the fence,, black or silver/grey hmmmmm decisions
Ok no probs!!
SG no question, thats what a CSL is! :smokin: :hahaha:

The clutch slur is fine. Mine did that when I first got it. The car learns how you like your changes and so has slowed them down / made them gentle.
A good run will sort it out.

It could be the clutch is on its way out. The gear change gets slurry but is most noticable when pulling away from stopped in 1st slowly, and you start to get judder.

I had that 'thing' for 5 years and loved it, I did over 60,000 mines in that 'thing' :hahaha: i've now got a Toerag  a CSL is still on the cards for summer but I'm looking for a super cheap one :birdman:
When you have 2 kids, one who plays muddy rugby every weekend, you need someTHING with some room and practicality :blalalala: In that THING I have had a full pallet of bricks, many washer/dryers, a fullsize fridge, a kingsize matress, 12 off 3x2 concrete flags and Kerry Katona (not all at once I hasten to add!)

Hope all goes well mate and it's quick and painless for you...
Get an estate, get a 4X4 but for the love of God don't get a people carrier....if you do you will have lost the will to live.

Lawsy -
have a word with these people http://shop.speedreligion.net/ they happen to be in warrington too.
I met them yesterday & had a ride in their csl race car - they have a removeable steering wheel in that and from what I could see, the smg box simply worked on 2 wires - I see no reason why it couldn't be set up as a paddle going both ways.
I have heard of someone who does mental times at the ring too using just full auto mode. The car will hold the gear when you are either on or off the power and I think it will do round a corner too - it only seems to upshift in auto mode in a straight line and under low throttle applications. I get the impression it is quite a handy auto box!
Have fun.
Cheers
Rich

A guy on Mtorque "3wheels3" is a wheelchair user and to see him fly round Donnington was unreal :smokin:
He uses hand controls, but i think uses full auto on trackdays.
I have one arm too, i still use the paddles as they are
