Went to Silverstone today to kick the year off in the CSL.
It was awesome. got up to 3 degrees but since it was bone dry, grip was decent on the cups. The CSL was heavenly.
It's my new love now.
So balanced, so communicative and flows so perfectly from corner to corner.
Back up there 1 March with goldbrick. Anyone keen?

It's not just the wet you have to consider when running 'Cups' it's also ambient air temp, 7 degrees C and below they don't grip!
Be careful out there. ;)

yes. Got heat in them after a lap.
Honestly, the cups were sublime. I would have tracked the cups regardless if the track was damp but the car was just gripping everywhere.
and the APs showed zero brake fade.
There was a slight engine hesitation after 30 min which curiously went away once i let off the gas. The engine temps went up to the 120 degrees mark but no lights came on.
Question: how do you tell if the engine was over-heating? Just the gauge or will the dash light up like a Xmas tree.
After the March 1 trip back, I'lll send the ol gal back to simpsons to freshen up for the trackway season proper beginning with a Spa trip in April
