best to avoid miners at all costs.

Weirdly, earlier I turned round to see a cutter-dwelling colleague of mine looking at this very same car, except the link he found had the mileage at 97000 and the price at £14,700.

Strange how the mileage changed but that wouldn't put me off to be honest as it could have just been a genuine mistake. And it didn't sell for £14,700 the owner just removed the ad at that point.

The car is supposedly at Simpsons.

What are people's thoughts on it and the price as a friend of mine meet be interested?

Fix it up and thrash the crap out of it. I thought mine was the most usable one for sale recently but this could be such a slag.

The add is still live as per the original post and still has a starting price of price of £16,700: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191484783756?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
A little optimistic given the mileage and the 'Cat D' reduction, (usually a 1/3rd). Similar mileage cars have been sold for under 20K and they weren't Cat D's.

The 1st attempt was even better (or worst) depending on how you look at it ;) The mileage as well as the asking price were both lower too :banghead:
It has a whiff of Cutters about it

It says in the add that work has started on the car

However there's an interesting change of text from the deleted post:
"but my country of origin is at war and money is needed"
I wonder if 'MI 6' do ebay? :smokin:

Kind of goes with the seller ID...

Not willing to accept offers, don't think they've thought the price through. If you bought it and repaired it, it wouldn't be worth what you spent in total, so why would someone do that for no return
