Hello all forum members, joined a little while ago and did post that I was looking for a CSL some time back. Have been a proud owner for a short while now and loving it. Attended my first Trackday at the helm last weekend and absolutely couldn't get enough.

The cslr has been a great source of knowledge for me, like sorting out how to adjust the tilt on my drivers seat at 11pm the day before the TD, so thanks all.

Best regards

Jim

Ok slight confession, when I was looking hard and long for a CSL something weird happened that I'm still not sure how but I ended up with 2 cars. I really didn't want my opening post to come across like a complete knob of a show off as I really am not. The SG pictured below is actually having the subframe replaced as we speak. The other car is SB which is the car that I took to Bedford, this car had been put back to completely std before I got it. The SG car has AP's fr n rr, a few aftermarket interior carbon bits and a SS backbox. I have the oem bb which is going back on as I am concerned about noise levels set at certain venues.

Welcome and loving the "having 2 CSL's".

Keep one as factory and have the other as your track toy.

Thanks Matt. Had to sell a few things to make the man maths work but work they did.

Congrats - good shout. Man maths overcomes ALL MATHS ;)

Pls PM me how you got this past the missus firewall of needing the same car twice over. I'm still figuring that bit out :)

Yes, I had enough trouble justifying two sets of wheels. Still man maths convinced her to change her mini to a mini GP.

Just tell her what a great investment the CSL's are but you need at least two to keep the mileage down ;) Luckily she loves cars as well and has driven them both. She loves the blip on the down shift more than anything.

Im glad to say neither will be garage queens, yes I will do all I can to keep them as sweet as possible but they are there to be driven road and track. Already picked up some stone chips but heyho.

Side by side pics will have to wait till next year but will get some done. :smt052

Wow, two CSL's - love it. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how good my man maths skills are there is no chance of squeezing another Cesil past the other half as she hates the current one.
