After a road legal tyre for wet track. Was going to get uniroyal rainsport.

This is for only driving to track and doing a wet track day. Already have new Goodyear eagle f1.

Not going to go for full wets as would rather carry cups or slicks in ze reAr just incase track dries up.

For as many track days from now till March/April.

Billy,
I eventually went for Uniroyal Rainsport 3's.
I then done a test day (in the rain) and knocked 7sec from my wet PSS times.
They seem to move a little on the blocks on initial turn in but then give superb grip.

Great wet grip but they dont last long when run on dry roads

Cheers boys. Cups no good for jan, feb, March.

Mark good to know.

Paul nice touch, that's a massive improvement and exactly what I wanted to here.

These won't be used in the dry as got a set of cups, slicks and goodyears. Just need decent tyres to cover all options. As want to do at least 2 track days a month in the wet.

Hope not, thinking more that if I do another 6-8 wet track days my driving on track in the dry should improve.

That's the theory anyway ;)

I reckon these Uniroyal's will make the super sport look amateur in the wet

Arrived from Camskill next working day.

I like the pictures of the dolphins on them.

Think you can feel the thread move when pushing but you can drive through it.

Got instruction first thing.

They are really good Craig, I've used them for years on all sorts of cars including the CsL :smokin:

If it rains next Saturday I am now blaming you. Will be good to compare these tyres to Eagle F1's though, as I've always rated them in the wet

Ive got Eagle F1's on my 19 inch square set up and they do grip very very well in the wet but nothing like the grip in the E36 on full wets. So looking for a tyre like these that gives a bit extra. Plus fitting these on 18 inch rims so can take the camber back to standard if wet, where as the 19's need about -3.2 up front.

Still want a dry day.
