Are any members going next year?
We are doing our annual family day out, but this year camping and making a weekend of it as it. Its now taking us more than a day to get round now and see everything.
Also wondering if it is BMW's year next year. My son has noticed all M cars are allowed in the Supercar Parking area and not just M1 and Z8 as previous years. £60 quid seems a lot to park for less of a walk.

Never been but the mrs wants to go, I'm in two minds. Love the Revival.

Which is the best day & any tips. I know I will need to be there early to beat the traffic. Thanks in advance

Only tip is go get there early.
We have always gone on the final day. Hopefully on the final day competitors are going for it.
We come from Portsmouth side and it takes an age to get round Chichester.
Last year we took our camper down on the Saturday night and parked up in front of Rolls Royce in the early hours of the morning. This meant we missed all the traffic.
The kids love it. My son is a petrol head at the age of 11 and got to meet John Mc Guiness, Jackie Stewart, Bradley Smith, Jenson Button amongst a few. Nice thing is it is all the stuff he sees on Top Gear and he can touch it / sometimes sit in it.
We are just finding it too big now to have a good look round and watch everything on the climb.

We go every 2nd year and do the Fri & Sat. Camped last time and it was OK apart from the 2 hr wait for a shower.

:hahaha:
Done FOS this year and revival last year, actually prefer the atmosphere of the revival, as others have said get there early, I went on a Friday, so a hell of a lot less busy, but missed the F1 cars etc etc.
Huge event now, a lot to see and do, and walk in a day especially if it's rammmed, so would be sensible to stay local and do over two days I would suggest.

Revival for sure - probably the best car event in the world if you ask me.
FoS still in doubt, 've done it about 5 times now.
Rather spend my time @24hrs Le Mans again.

Going to 2015 Revival? As I said before I'm lucky, mrs wants to go to members meeting, Revival & now the festival of speed. It's me that not sure about the speed event.

Bit of a thread resurrection but my Dad and I were talking about this the other day. We were there 4 years ago and fancy going again this year.
We went down the Friday, done the Sat and Sun, drove home to Scotland Sun night. (Bit of a slog) Camping was a bit of craic, fancy somewhere a bit more comfortable this year but think we'll struggle for places now. I hear you can stay a bit further out and chopper in for not-to-much money, anyone any ideas?
Probably just end up loading the CSL with the tent and stuff to head away the thursday night from NI, slum it.
