Ok,
Ive put my car up on Autotrader and thought it best to offer it to offer forum members,
i'm happy to take a cheaper e46 track car in part ex or any other performance car i can use whilst selling on.
i may return the car to standard and sell the mods separately?..
Here goes;

69,500miles Full service history, BMW extras including; Air con, CD player, new michelin pilot sport cups - the only essential bmw extras for a CSL, The car has been to CSL specialists "Simpsons motorsport" and had KWV3'S coilovers fitted along with an A.P Racing big brake kit. This combination makes for the ultimate fast road/track car, coupled with the fact that Black CSL's are the rarest of the two colours and this one has flawless paint along with a full engineers report from an independant BMW tuning specialist confirming it's great condition.
Any inspection welcome, part exchange considered.

Some pic's from before i had it prepped for sale (front bumper and wheels have now been professionally re painted along with new cups fitted)- pics will be updated shortly.

Service history is as follows;

BMW pre delivery check- 15/12/03 (PARAGON BMW)
Running in check 1400 miles- 10/02/04 (PARAGON BMW)
Oil service 11960 miles ?/?/? (PARAGON BMW)
Inspection 1 23448 miles 31/07/07 (Autologic independent BMW specialist)
Oil service 38233 miles 15/10/08 (Motortune independent BMW specialist)
Inspection 2 58517 miles 16/02/10 (Motortune independent BMW specialist)
Oil service 64252 miles 10/02/11 (Simpson Motorsport independent BMW specialist)
Inspection 2 65692 miles 16/08/12 (Simpson Motorsport independent BMW specialist)

In my ownership the car has undergone the following with O.E BMW parts with receipts to prove prior to my Spa track day,

Oil service 68k miles
Rear diff oil 68k miles
6x spark plugs 68k miles
6x coil packs 68k miles
Air/pollen filter 68k miles
Carbotech xp10 front/rear pads and Performance Friction vented rear discs fitted at 68k miles

4x Michelin pilot sport cups soft option.

Pre sales tlc at 69k
Front bumper professionally re painted and carbon fibre front spats re lacquered,
Wheels professionally re furbed by http://www.wheelworksuk.co.uk/,
BMW O.E clutch fitted along with the prop shaft do nut and support bearing,
Pre cat Lamber sensors replaced.
SMG microswitch's replaced.

5 previous owners.

The car is now in perfect working order and as soon as the roads are dry i will collect it from the workshop and take new photo's..

Cheers for the compliments guys.
I have to say that even my pals that arent into cars, comment on how special it looks-i put alot of its presence down to it's gleaming black paintwork-Most the cars in my collection are Black, personally I think it suits the e46 m3's lines perfectly.

The wet weekend has meant I havent collected cesil from having its new clutch fitted-new pic's and service records will be updated as soon as we get a dry day that is worth getting her out for.

cheers Jamie

updated the service history in the first post.

Photo's of the boot floor were taken whilst the Propshaft was out and the advert will be updated with pics shortly.
Needless to say the boot floor is in perfect condition with no signs of hairline cracks etc.

cheers Jamie

Sad day.
Cesil has gone to a new home.
i stupidly forgot to get any decent pics of the two together over the last 18months.

Gone to a good guy and i'll be seeing it at European trackdays next year.

cheers guys.

1M is great but looks lonely without another M car in the garage lol.
i'll be looking for a cheap m3 smg to strip out and turn into a track car for next year.- the Dixus exhaust will be worth as much as the car probably- the cheap ones are always faster around a track i find lol.

Fingers crossed BMW release a m4 csl/gts as i'll be putting my name down for one if so.

Sold via the MLR i think but the new owner also viewed it on here and Autotrader...

I took a track spec evo in part ex along with a trailer and spares package so not sure on the price but both i and the new owner seem happy with the deal.
Although when i look out at the evo i certainly dont get that same happy feeling i did when seeing cesil.:banghead:

Good spot Matt.

One week sale only. Tough at this time of year. Pity really as the owner's not even had a chance to have a spirited drive.

Something to do with another car being offered once we had already agreed a deal.
Well worth that asking price but someones got to be quick by the looks of it..
I'll have it back if nobody else snaps it up.

I dealt my Evo with Jamie on his CSL (which is on my ebay ad)....

As per my orig post ( on M3 Cutters ) I had been offered some nice M3's.... It just so happened this deal suited me and the then seller who took my Evo track car in PX.... My intention was (and still may be) to keep this accordingly, however, at lunchtime today ( Friday ) I have been offered a ONE owner, 23k mile 2004/04 CSL from a private collection..... Whilst I have quite a few "toys" in my stable I really cannot justify buying A.N.Other CSL unless I part with this one, no matter how nice it is....

So, as per my advert, this is for sale for one week only (as the seller of the 23k mile CSL has other interest so has given me till next Friday).

This will STILL be going to Lawsy next Thursday & by then anyway I'll know if Ive got serious interest (which is doubtful with it being Xmas etc).....if unsold etc .....then I WILL be keeping it & a new Lawsy (MB zorst system) & re-map in the New Year will be on the cards....

A win-win situation for me whichever way I look at it
