Hi,

with the placement and size of the brake pedal in the CSL, it is not conducive to Left Foot Braking. does anyone know of a larger brake pedal kit that slides more across the left so that I can pedal it karting style? Thanks

now that's going to do the clutch a great deal of help :banghead:

the csl is so well balanced and a great car to trail brake into a fast corner why would you need to do this ?

Can you not fix a slightly bigger plate on brake pedal?

There is a bit of time to be found, lol at concerns over the clutch...

Auto pedal from standard 3 series fits no issue :)

thanks Nathan. I'll ask Anthony about fitting it.

I like the option of being able to do it. Since I can't heel n toe anymore on the smg, figure I try something new.

I'm surprised this hasn't come up before given the various amusing posts above on the topic.

I left foot brake all the time. Don't worry about responses on here. Most are just polishers that fit AP brakes because they think they need them

I always start on right foot then add left and release right, back onto throttle before releasing left. Timed right it's awesome, better weight transfer. And corner exit.

Pity I'm shit everywhere else on track lol

I'll post pics of the auto pedal when i get them installed. I don't know if it'll work as well but it'll be better than what i got now.

I don't know how else to brake in the CSL, as well as my R35. ;)

auto pedal installed. now I can LF brake. still not ideal as the pedal placement is still too far right but at least I can reach the edge of the brake pedal now without discomfort.

Not sure this is the right forum to post pictures of your leg. You never know who might be lurking.

I am probably faster using the right foot but it gives my left leg something to do.

Shimmy as usual, you have it all wrong. For track days I just hit my left foot with a hammer which obviously causes swelling and enables me to reach the brake. In addition to this the foot becomes more sensitive (until it heals at least) and so the whole thing works a lot better than big shoes ;) .

Tip, top, tip :smokin:
