Had a few NSX's

this one about 3 years now, its a facelift model which I prefer.

The Facelift is a 3.2 V6, all aluminum Body...including the suspension etc. Great Car. Have had a few cars and the NSX is one I can't let go. The engine note, just like the CSL is unique.

Thanks Guys.

The CSL and NSX are both quite unique, The noise in both is nothing like I've ever heard.

Both are High revving and scream in the high rev range but the CSL seems to have more torque lower down and throttle response is instant.

The NSX is very well balanced but when it bites it bites...very hard to save on hard oversteer. The NSX seat position is very low down and the full cockpit 360 view makes it easy to drive (cockpit based on F16 fighter jet) But it also seems like a Honda civic when pootling along. It Grabs attention anywhere and I often get into an hour discussion about it when filling up, sometimes because people don't know what it is!....I'm sure the CSL maybe similar, time will tell.

The CSL feels like a perfectly balanced beast...traction control off on the first day was brave...but it just felt so right. Tried to goto sleep last night and the noise was still in my head....first thing this morning I was debating whether to take it to work! so addictive. I will probably spend most of Saturday cleaning it and get some pics up. I love the CSL after one day.....I have been missing out.......If the Devil exists and can talk....I think he would sound like the CSL

I Live near Croydon if anyone is local!

Cheers,

Mike

It may sound strange but Cesil does not look out of place with its new friends. Love the 4.0l

The guy who had mine before me had purchased it from them (Maundrell) originally. Strong price!

CSl wanted for me too. 60-70k miles, up to £27k paid.

I know everyone says 'cheap and must be worth £30k' on here but the black one at £28k has sat for a while and I know munich legends et al all offer low 20s for these types of cars.

I'm willing to travel, have cash, no px or finance needed.

If it's not shifted below £30k there will be a reason. Bad service history will significantly devalue a car.

You could get a 60-70k car for that budget but personally I wouldn't having recently been in the market and bought and looked at the cars close to that price range.

I believe they are still an appreciating asset. Spend £30-£32k and it will be a solid investment for years to come.

If £27k really is your budget and you must have a CSL I would buy a high mileage example that has been fastidiously maintained.

It depends on the car. sJ specialist cars just sold a mint one for about £28500 and he has dealer margin in it, if I don't get one its not the end of the world. Personally I feel £27k is fair for a 60-70k mile car but I suppose we will see

Did he tell you that? There's plenty documented on multiple forums about his sales 'technique'.

No disrespect, but what you feel is fair doesn't have much influence over what the current market might be. I was in the same situation just over a year ago so I sympathise with your circumstances. Had I bought my car 6 months earlier than I did, it would have cost me significantly less. Such is the fickel nature of the used car market...

That being said, best of luck in your 'quest'! I hope you manage to find a car that meets your requirements in your budget. Take it from me, it's 110% worth it when you do!

This SG has been around for a while, there must be a deal to be done if the Service history stacks up? Not many one owner cars about.

It's not the first time I've heard this said about that Bedfordshire based Dealer :banghead:
Just how bad was it and its service history ?
