Taking a long delayed holiday in Italy for a few weeks. It's been a rubbish 12 months or so for my wife, so taking some good R&R in the late summer Italian sun and it's absolutely fab! Been many times and love it here.

If I was looking, Tuscany would be my No.1 choice for a home abroad.

Where would you lot like one and why?

Just back home. What a fantastic break. Love absolutely everything about the place. September is THE best time to go, after all the Summer madness it was total bliss! I want a place there and that is now my goal. Small pad with a pool and a garage. Even found my favourite beach club.

Ian, I agree with all you said and the wife is on board, so all I need now is the money............................................. ......any bright ideas? :bigcry:

Better get saving, prices of property are increasing faster than a CSL.

Welcome back Al  Good to read you had a great time. I know what you mean about going in September... the weather is just right
Anywhere around the Italian lakes is always Bellissimo. For me & my wife Tichino in the South of CH has always been a great getaway for the past 10 years. Como & Bellagio in North Italy are quite pleasant too :smokin:
