Hello guys,

Does anybody know if Wethje is still on business or they've stopped to produce CSL parts?

Thank you in advance.

Wethje is still in business.

They don't do any CSL parts, thats what they told me month ago.

They have made parts for BMW Motorsport for many years, going back to group 5 E21's still going strong but as far as I know only do large production runs.

I need to find for the M3 E46 two doors, rear boot, a GTR hood and a roof...

Any others companies specialized in carbon. In Europe especially. I've talked with Lokid and i'm waiting an answer.

Thank you in advance.

Roland, do you know someone within Wethje or something??

If so perhaps ask them how many orders before they would do another set of GTR bonnets??

I was offered a Wethje CSL bootlid for 2500 EUR. I was also told new they were 5000 EUR.
Supposedly the weight is 2.5 to 3.5kg.
(I suppose it's 4 or so).

I think it's a lot of money for what it is.

Way Way over priced parts just because WETHJE. I'll pass and stick with my OEM Bonnet.

Thank you guys. I found a bonnet and rear boot from an old VLN Swedish E46 M3 racing car.

Oe bonnet is quite light.
Cut out the inner skin from a cheap donar bonnet, then cut out some pieces and apply mesh/vent as appropriate. Even lighter.
Bonnet raisers at rear.

Air rushes in and pulls hot air out.

That's my next move if I get another.

I remove the seals.
Lighter and costs nothing
