Hi

Can someone tell me if this is normal with SMG

the car seems to change gear fine but then it feels like a slight over rev then the revs are normal.

Any advice welcome

It's not normal, but it is a very common fault. Search on here for clutch slip or clutch slur and you will get a lot of information.

Thanks for the info, is there any way to fix this, will the clutch bite point reset fox it?

When are the over revs occurring?

Are they on the upshift with your foot on the gas accelerating without lifting off or on the downshift?

Are you lifting off on upshift or downshift?
