As above guys joined a year or so ago looking for a CSL but business took over and couldn't afford to get one! Wish I did now as the prices have hiked up :banghead:
Did end up purchasing a nice Escort Cosworth monte in JV but not as useable as a CSL I would say!
What would you guys recommend is a good budget for a decent CSL around the 50000 mile mark and looked after? Maybe a few upgrades such as AP's and KW's but not to fussed on them.
30k?
Cheers

Wish you the best of luck. Mine has 54k & I'm looking for offers over 100k. The classic car market has gone mad.

To be honest I'm not following the market closely. I know some makes have gone bonkers & the csl has gone up over the last few years, but I have no plans to sell. 8 years and loving every mile.

:hahaha::hahaha::hahaha: A bit of a wait then Peter ;).
I think £35,000 has to a figure to work around for something along the specification you are looking for. Give or take a couple of thousand either way. I must say that I have not looked at prices recently.

Hi Pip, hope you are well. Prepared to wait a long time as not planning to sell. Would only be interested in a gt3 but no luggage space to keep mrs happy.
Heard the other day a csl with 38k miles went for 45k

Wow, £45,000 that has to be a dealership - Hexagon? Those selling prices are pushing into Porsche GT3 territory or at least it was but they are climbing too and are still in short supply.

Prices seem to have stabilised a bit over the last few months.
There's been a 68k miler at £29,995 on Autotrader for for a while and Hexagon's cars never seem to change.
I noticed one with 75k became available at £30k in the last day or two but this looks pricey if the 68k one isn't shifting.
I'd have thought that £32-£35k will get you a car with 50,000 miles from a realistic private seller.
Not sure Hexagon are really helping the market with their artificially high prices.

Cheers guys, I've always wanted one since they have been released! Ideally wanting a grey one but I wouldn't mind a nice spec'd out black one! I can stretch for the right car but I think it's more a waiting game for the right car.

regarding prices,
it the car has had major warrenty work done like replacement engine , gearbox , diff ect ect ........
do you think this added value to the car ?

So much can affect the price:
Service history, when is service II due?
Tyres
Subframe
Accident repair
Etc, etc
I looked at 5 before buying mine and that was 8 years ago. A one owner I looked at was a dog

Harry, 30K budget should be sufficient. Summer may not be the strongest time to buy. Late summer/autumn always sees a couple of A1 csl's for sale on the forum. Keep your powder dry and sit on your hands for a few months!!
don't be bound by mileage on the car, it means nothing unless the car stacks up. 70-100K Miles examples will be comparable to any garage queen relative to price.
