Monday Assen so might stop at the Tinkergarden Monday night see what's what after Assen and time we land, might be open Tuesday am then head to spa for PM, prob head home Tuesday eve on the shuttle at some point.

Dirk is going to start sending out invoices for Papenburg Drifting. Can everyone let him know if they want lunch or have an extra passenger. Lunch is €20pp and a passenger/extra driver is €11. Best way to pay for this is Paypal direct to Dirk.

We have 10 for Spa and 8 for Assen, Peter from the event company is happy to apply the 10% discount. Sadly he doesn't have paypal or a credit card machine so the options to pay are a Chaps transfer or Euros on the day. He will be in touch also with invoices.

Monza is an awesome track to enjoy the energy of the Tifosi, but please don't hate me, it is so incredibly boring to drive... :(
Basically, you have a slow chicane, a fast chicane (which is nice), two fast right handers (that are ok, but not especially spectacular) and the Parabolica, which has an interesting braking zone, but other than that not very spectacular either.

i agree, great track to say you've driven but not a great track to drive. Did it in 2008, five big straights, perfect for GT2 and anything over 600bhp

The only exception on that is that when the weather is so bad that driving on track is too dangerous, then it is possible to cancel the day entirely.
In that case we will try and find a new date for all the entries (after all, everyone wanted to drive on the track), but if that turns out to be impossible, you will get a refund.
That's how it works with us in any case, other trackday organizers can have different rules of course.

Very much looking forward to October, I'm paid up for Papenburg and happy to extend some sideways action at Assen and Spa in the wet (will try and avoid gravel traps this time, look out shimmy).

Right an update from me. I'm laid low with an Achilles operation and currently on crutches BUT I am determined to get it better and be out there for Assen and Spa. Initially I wasn't convinced my car would be ready so I cancelled Papenburg and now if I make the trip I will travel out Sunday at the earliest and stay at Groningen (if anybody else is still there).

Ill make a final decision Wednesday this week depending on health improvements.

If you like Spa, then Zandvoort is a secret tip as well. Not quite as high speed, but more technical and more bumps and camber changes. Oldschool tracks are just so much more entertaining and demanding than modern flat tracks.
Bilster Berg is a good exception and Ascari & Portimao are just simply breathtaking.
The next couple of weeks we will be extremely busy setting up these events for this year, but after that I will definitely get in touch. By then we will probably also have our calendar for 2015 more or less complete, so we could work out some nice events.

in 2015 i have already booked out November for a Portimao/Ascari trip and maybe Imoila/Mugello as well 2015/2016 as well. We will definitely get a good turn out here and PGT just as long as we can get economical car transport down to Portugal....maybe you can get a price for one whole transporter from London when you get your prices from the transport guys.

Thanks to everyone for quite possibly the most amazing trip and experience Ive ever had in a car. Papenburg is possibly the most amazing track in the world and a must if you want to push your skills forwards and learn what the CSLs capable of.
Assen was so smooth and the fastest corner Bill and I drifted in 4th at 115mph. A big thanks to Michelin for making the experience possible just a shame you let me down at Spa........although that could have been my fault!!!

Im already booked on the 9th November as I cant stop thinking about Papenburgs 4th gear 90mph flat out corner in to a tight 3 gear 40 mph bend. So rewarding once you've got the whole track dialed in sideways its addictive.
