Good man Rick, nice feature. Be nice if this was the first thread that doesn't decend into an anti-SMG rant from the PH "experts" now. And wonder how many times the 135/235 will get a mention!

Cheers bud . . . seemed a good way of thanking the Register and a few others for all their help :)

The gloves are coming off . . . I sense the inevitable downward spiral of what was a very friendly thread . . . time to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Excellant gif Chappers by the way - the show is about to start.

I'd take it as a compliment that it took until page 6 in your thread to go a bit wobbly Rick. Usually there's a scrap in a car-park arranged by page 3

Damn, what's the catch?!? Two sets of tyres, super sprint, APs, original brakes and exhaust with car, 58k and only £28.5k?!?!?

No warranty ? But seems to have fbmwsh.

Yes, good price. I'd expect to start either a 3.

May have a punt !

On the face of the ad, I'd say this is a bargain, lightweight race SS is just the cherries on the top!!! and a PP to boot.;)

Catch? Cracked subframe, service history, who knows. Maybe 100% genuine! but only one way to find out

Hmmm feeling like I should have waited but it's the gamble you take I guess

This has all the ingredients of being a "pup"

Spare set of rims, oem calipers, oem BB and the plate all in.

Anyone out there looking for an SG should give this car a viewing......

My betting is SH and running in service are the downers on this car. despite the ad being private the narrative is not consistent with an owner selling his/her pride and joy

"Black interior" suggests the owners lack of Knowledge on the car

The interior does look A1 though!!

Possible to make some money on this purchase Yanto!!

I have expressed an interest, but between the two of us you have priority.:)

If you have a good one and happy I would not fret about it. I paid a little more for mine than the average price years ago , but felt it was worth it.

True, true. Mine's a lovely car despite the mileage but I'm fairly sure my heart overruled my head a bit during the purchase. Spose if be scared to use a 58k car, don't all the problems start at 60k? ;)

Don't know about that. Met someone about four years ago who's car had done over 100k with no problems (daily driver) Will have to speak to the mechanic who worked on it to find out if he is still driving it.

That looks way too cheap, I'd expect that to be north of 32k.

Glad I'm not the only one to have been a bit disheartened at the low price on this car, can't be a true sign of prices surely something is not 100% with it as said above....

Hexagon prices appear to have softened i.e. become a tad more realistic
