Plenty of places to play airsoft skirmishing around the country. Prices will vary for a game if that's what you mean.
You are best to hire at the event as it's not possible to purchase a RIF (Real imitation Forearm) as you need to attend games regularly to quality to buy one from a retailer, 3 games over a specific period.
You can purchase an airsoft gun that is painted more than 51% a bright colour, it's just RIF that you are prohibited.

So there are real people that do this then! I was invited out to this last weekend, made alternate plans for my kids and they cancelled the event due to lack of working equipment. I have now decided that I'm not that desperate to try it

I used to go regular its great fun its got indoor outdoor tactical games that test you as a person sometimes forces you to work in teams with people you don't know

You got like 4 corner attack and take the 4 corners outdoors and indoors you got find intel or take and hold a part of the building see which team can hold out longest!
Ive got over 1k worth of Airsoft guns at home one gun cost me £400 not cheap but soo much fun lacing people up with bb's that pierce the skin

Crusades were swords shields n maces these are plastic guns that fire plastic balls!!
