As prices have risen and my renewal has come round - Flux can't get me a quote with an agreed price, just market value. I had a look a Glass.co.uk and the market value is £23k at a dealers lol !!!
Who do you guys use with an agreed value?

Try Livingstones Brockers on 01935706258. I used to have agreed value through them until they stopped track cover. I may go back this year. As a minimum I will get a quote.
You may have to ask to speak to the owner, Jason (hope my memory is ok). At least he knows about cars.

Yeah, classicline all the way. As per prev post, + easy to deal with, seem to cost a little less each year (how it should be!), and 90day europe cover. Pretty painless agreed value process to top it off.

 Bye Bye "CCI"... Hello "Classic Line"
CCI /Aviva have very little interest in our Cecils these days so it's ByeseeBye from me too, after 4 years of cover :clown:
I've renew with "Classic Line" today for under £300 all in

Good luck with it all Lesa  Save yourself an 0844 phone call to CCI unless you're interested in F. Y. quotes  I rung them earlier and the first quote they tried on me was £478 !!! WTF I said in no fewer words... having had a quote from them few months ago @ £307 and no changes on my side since then. Then they paddled back :clown: but only managed to scrape off about £100 off the F.Y. quote so I said Bye Bye ... another one bites the dust :banghead:
Aviva has set them a great business model on how to loose money :supz:

Just spoke to Flux who have only just yesterday started offering a new policy whereby you pay an additional £62 on top of your insurance and this will give you an agreed price.
Basically your insurance gives you market value and then this additional insurance policy pays out the balance to the agreed price - guaranteed.
You will need to send in 4 photos and a valuation but this has kept my policy to just £250 whereby Classic Line wanted over £400!
One very happy bunny :supz:

Sounds like i need to give Flux a call! As a new owner (6 weeks) had a quote from Classicline yesterday of £360 which i was quite pleased with, i am 41 "cough" with full no claims etc. As mentioned before unlimited track cover, agreed value, £20 charge if you use them or you can get your own.
still no worries

How do they work out market value ?
If mine was written off could I just say to them just replace my car like for like ?
I would be happy with sg csl with close to same miles !

I'm about to join classic line as well. Do you mind if I ask how old you are? That quote is significantly less than mine! :bigcry:

IIRC I send them a few nice pix  Service history details and a sample of similar to mine Cecil FOR SALE Ads as an indicator.
Remember that any quality Ad on extras like AP Racing brakes, Supersprint exhaust, etc do ad a bit to the final value.

That's most probably due to your London postcode :bigcry:

Ah ok. I'm 34 (almost) but my quote was over £700!

Maybe that's the case, thought that being garaged it might be ok. Oh well.

It's still much better than my renewal quote from Manning and Co.

I believe Manning are stopping their track cover now anyway so it is time to move on.

Sort of, they are stopping European track cover. I was told the UK is still covered, but they were almost twice the price of Classicline!! :119:
still no worries

I wouldn't use them Shim, they fell foul over here of both the Local Monetary Assurance Office and the Regulator Of Financial Legislation

I'm about to make the switch to Classicline today...has anyone ever had any problems with them? It seems as though they are the best option but I'm interested to know if anyone has actually made a claim through them and whether the process was smooth and easy.
