who does the boot floor repairs for elms bedford

hi all

just had an email asking me if I could move the date for my boot floor replacement from the 2nd june to the 14th june which is a bit of a problem as ive got work and holiday plans around those dates , my question is , do elms Bedford body shop do this or is contracted out to somebody else ,the person what contacted me was from bedfordia accident repair centre ???,anybody else had the boot floor done there ??

Think I read somewhere that "Bedfordia" is the Group Name, to which Elms now belong. :thumbs:

When Elms were too busy they arranged for me to go to Performance Cars.

Yep, Bedfordia is the group that owns Elms (and Mlytons) and do the body shop work for Elms BMW, a franchise for BMW UK.

Once referred, you deal with Bedfordia, who are great.

Simon Fish is the chap i dealt with @ Bedford Elms / Bedfordia - top bloke who took the time out to explain what exactly was being done - pre-op, and also post-op. I had them do a few other little bits for me too... car was like new when i picked her up :thumbs:

Befordia is part of the elms Cambridge, stansted and Bedford group.

The same people called me to arrange mine.

Hello, I am new, maybe I have posted wrong but I have been to elms bedford for the same repair just after I had paid for this new car :(

My situation was good and not so good. I speak to someone who said they cannot confirm the appointment but put me to someone woman who was rather rude. She was not helpful as I needed another car to help my poor recovery of surgery.
I had no choice but to take the manual gearbox mini. I was in no rush for repair.
anyhow, my csl was there and it was delayed for awhile due ti problem but it was no isuue to me. The gentlemen mentioned above, Simon? WOW! He had called me many times to tell me what has happened and when, showed me my csl on the lift nad explained all I needed to know.
Bad experience again.
My car finished outside looking like new I enter bedfordia to be greeted by how can this be put? Very rude as if I had not been there. I cannot remember the name but she should not be serving business on behalf of bmw. I will say to you as rude as you were to me. You are an ugly women with more moustche than I could ever grow and you attitude should not be there for bmw.
I am sorry but I wish my experience was with Simon alone as I have other cosmetic issues that I will want to pay money for that I may take elsewhere.
The knowledge of Simon is very good of my problem but maybe I was not paying for the job that is why I was treated as a piece of crap!

Not sure what her looks have to do with anything....but all the more surprising as I remember one of the receptionists being very pleasing on the eye, but that's irrelevant of course...

Yes, younger woman apeealing to eye but older woman definatley not!
Yes it is not relevant to my issue of my car but when spoke to in a way of rudenes I was not happy.
Other than this I am pleased to be happy with all other dealing with Bedfordia

Elms did my inspection and the work has been outsourced to Specialist Cars of Hitchin.

I must admit that elms (bedfordia) have been a pleasure to deal with , through emails ,phone calls, everything was explained to me when I dropped the car of by simon , simon asked me if I wanted to know anything all I asked was when it would be finished they said approx. 3/4 weeks ive asked if it can be finished for the 12th july and they are going for that date ,as for the women what dealt with me she was really pleasant couldent do enough to help ,even down to the courtesy car which was a bit of a surprise which I wasent expecting as my mate who had his boot repaired by sytners got a mini estate car which he wasent to happy to be seen in it , I got a brand new 14 plate 520 tourer 65mpg twin turbo diesel really pleased with it the wife loves it
