I'm in Herts

Can post easy enough if you want (to pay) :)

They are cheap as the brackets etc are not brilliant but pipes, flanges and cats are 100% ok. Was gonna save them for an e46 race car but could be a few years off.

Cool, not advertised them yet (although sold a set of AP brakes today to an M3 owner who wanted them)

M3 cats are 200cell, european cars , the CSL cat was a bit lighter but still a 200cell cat that's why it had a different part number, the yanks had the 400 cell cats on there M3s because of there strict EM laws, that's why they did not get the CSL

Yanks have cats in the manifolds too, that's why they buy the European manifolds.

I'm certain the standard m3 cats are not 200 cell though.

from what I can discern from research the normal M3 is a 200 cell CAT.

the CSL cat casing was a little lighter hence the different part number. US cars have the 400 CELL equivalent due to stricter emissions, which is why the CSL never made it out there.

all the US lot buy the Euro spec 200 CATs from ebay. its a big discussion on cutters as they have all been looking for cheapo 100 cell ones (which do not exist). either keep OEM or go full decat....which is what I said to them ages ago (keep OEM CATS for MOT swap time)

snippet from a 20 page document on BMW tech spec. shows 200 CELL cat confirmation in the left hand side column for the E46 M3 exhaust system/CAT (low number of cells = 200).

That's why the supersprint cats are a waste of money.
Silly money

agreed. Gut some used oem cats off ebay, making them a de cat, get a re map to sort out the issues with fuelling/flat spots and you are away. Nice gain then and will fly through the revs.
