So last Friday and washed and waxed a friends Maserati MC Stradale..She was showing it at a show in Bristol and was coming from far a field and wanted it cleaned before the show so rather than let some car cleaning place do it I offer to clean it for her....she was very pleased.........
This car is in my dream garage and although there are better 2 seater hard core cars.....911 GT3 RS springs to mind....there is something very special about this car from the way it looks to the noise......Oh the noise....Never heard anything like it...Bloody stunning..........
what made my day was that she gave me the keys and said...go on take her for a spin.....I def did a little love wee.....What a machine.........:smt055:smt055:smt055 .............. For an afternoon my life was complete....
so thought I would share some pictures...

'Grigio Granito' with 'Rosso Corallo' trim, 'Arancione' (orange) would be my ideal but they don't do that 'off-the-peg' special order money only! ;)

Neil, had a Maserati 3200 before the CSL...Have always had a passion for them and never really got it out of my system......I am still heavily involved with www.sportsmaserati.com and have been since day one and I organise the odd track day for them as some of you know.......i have been a moderator on the site for some time....i love my M cars but Maserati is a big passion for me.....Its weird as there are better, faster, better handling cars out there but the one thing they are not is a Maserati and you either get it or you don't I suppose......

Pity it's not carbon ;)
Used to occasionally park beside one of these Stradales if I ever took the Cesil into work. It was in an underground, and the one day we both started up at the same time there was some serious noise reverberating around the place :smokin:
Still prefer the looks of a Shamal though, but I'm a bit strange like that

How much more M can you get than the big one. Maserati were building race cars when BMW were making engine swaps for the 'Red Baron'
If I'm not mistaken it's their anniversary, 100 years this year of the big M.
The Shamal is a Ghibli on steroids - lots of them, that's some serious machine even now!
PS The clock was made for Maserati by Lasalle in 9ct Gold the price then was £3K.

Enough to put you off them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeWoq-7tw24 It used to be said that footballers drove Ferrari's and that gentlemen drove Maserati's, not so sure anymore! :bigcry:

Bloody loving the red one.....To be honest a standard GranTurismo S sounds amazing......The Stradale just adds to that......

bold colour. There is a black one swanning around chester that sounds the dogs. Even though I'd have one in the fantasy garage I wouldn't swap the CSL for one, no matter the cost difference ;0)

She was caught speeding in her and said that if she lost her licence she would leave the car with me to look after.....The one time in my life wished for a friend to llse their licence.....She told me today she got away with it...Bollocks I say. :banghead:
