It depends.
You can do it making sure you very carefully mark the carrier up beforehand, and then putting it back exactly the same way. However it's often best to double check the alignment too just to make sure.

Unless you could categorically state that the rear geo settings were unaffected during the fitting, then I would strongly recommend having it done again - especially if going on track.
Put it this way, a hideface hammer was needed to 'help extract' my old bushes so it's highly unlikely that all suspension components would be exactly the same after refitting... :smt104
Get your credit card out again! :hahaha:

You can get this done for about £40 at any decent suspension specialist. I fitted my Limiter Kit and then had a local boy do the GEO, he was 1st class and had the Hunter so-many-thousand gear.
www.alignmycar.co.uk is a good wee website.

as has been said before marking is a waste of time

As has been said before "not it isn't". It only takes a few minutes and it then shows you where it was before, so you can put back in the same place. You then know the alignment is going to be pretty much right.. which a further quick (proper) alignment check will confirm - Providing whoevers doing it isn't a complete baffoon of course
:-D
yes defo worth marking! When you mark them atleast they go on very close or bang on, quick check with alignment and job done!

fitting a different bush in a different place will make the mark's redundant quite simple you might get it close but not spot on
