Since all this recent snow, the CSL has been tucked away in the garage but the sun is meant to be about on Saturday  so going heading towards Eastbourne way for a spot of daytime fishing as there is a high tide in the afternoon.

Really looking forward to driving the old girl again as it seems an age since I have been behind the wheel! Fingers crossed we will catch something as have always seemed to blank on day tides before.

Anyone else out and about?

Weathers not gonna be good this weekend unfortunately, so I'll just open the garage so I can admire her from the kitchen.

That first run after a long time makes me tingle though :smt055

The only thing you will be catching in Eastbourne is a cold, didn't think it was too clever over the weeknd. If its nice, maybe about on sunday in that area. Enjoy!

Fair one! I was trying to be optimistic! :hahaha:

I did test a 520d 'M' Touring straight after and was much more impressed by the drive - brand loyalty aside! Want to try a 530d/535d now...

Its gotta be a 6pot mate. We've a 320d Msport, and its pretty dull to be honest.

But for doing 20k a year and having a CSL and M5 in the garage too, it doesnt really matter. :smokin:

This thread inspired me to take the CSL out for a blast today - good roads in Hampshire - A272 and A32 - about a 30 mile run and most of it with the windows open (heater on :) ), sport button pressed (obviously) and big cheesy grin (of course).... :)

I also got the CSL out for a blast on Sunday. Hit the A479 (Crickhowell to Talgarth) and had a brilliant drive to scrub in the fresh Cups.

Got an angry wave of disapproval from some walkers who obviously took offense because I was having fun and could probably hear my car from a fair distance away. This was despite me slowing to 20mph and giving them a wide berth. :wanker: So, to make them even more angry , once past I floored 2nd gear and made my exit in a fog of trye smoke. :hahaha:

Also met and had a great drive with a nice bloke in a white 997 GT3. He'd just changed up from a 996 and said he always wanted a CSL as well. Thinks he might be looking for one soon but needs to convince his wife first! I did my marketing bit and promoted cslregister.com

One thing I really noticed on Saturday's drive was the potholes from frost damage (so i was told). Massive craters in some of the roads I was on. Managed to dodge most of them though

You are right! I live in the sticks and since the winter the roads have gone down hill in a big way! And the way they fix the holes is just :wanker:
