These seem like not the usual aps.
What are they?

are they racing calipers? I was told the ones in grey finish as racing ones so bit lighter too.
are they dust sealed as they tend to need more looking after than the road going kit.
look great in that grey!

Nice brake kit..
As for pad compound- if for fast road use i have ds2500 on my AP equipped csl and they work well at fast road speeds.
If for track days etc then i would recommend carbotech xp10's or 12's- they create alot of dust but will bite better than any other pad ive experienced..
put some pics up of them fitted to the car when you get round to it...
I'm still looking for a bbk for my 1M but cant get my head round the price so ive opted for pf friction discs and xp10's..
cheers Jamie

Most people on here tend to use Pagid RS29s and swear by them. I've run DS2500s, Performance Friction and Pagid. The DS2500s are hopeless on the front but ok on the rear. PF on the front are the best for feel and progression, in my view, but noisy and very dusty. RS29s are the best all-rounders.
Pagid RS29's in my opinion are not the way to go at all. One of the worst Pagid pads they make. If its Pagid your after then go RS 15's.

RS29's all round and I cannot fault them in the slightest. Work fine on the road hot or cold, don't squeak, and faultless on track. I've never had even a sniff of brake fade.

I've had good experiences with rs15 and rs14 but stick to rs29 now as you can get front and back for balance, and they are great, if not a little harsh on the discs.

100% agree
RS29's are the best addition I've made thus far......and I've made a few;)
