No worries! I worked my plums off today and got the job to a stage where I can say "Speak to you on Monday..." so my camera's on charge, fluids are checked, and towing-eye is in! Give me a good chance to test these new brakes of mine!

SMD, just realised I never replied about the Mich's! Sorry mate, been a mad few weeks! I'm ok for now, but thanks anyway!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr......!

Did you go mate? Only saw one CSL there and it didn't have yellow calipers so must have been someone elses.

It was my first experience of a dry Oulton Park (in the afternoon) and I loved it! New brakes performed brilliantly too, with no fade whatsoever despite me getting the buggers smoking after each session!

Had to leave at 2 though to sort a job out, but can't wait for my next session.

I tried out a set of Falken tyres this time, which I was pretty impressed with to be honest. Felt no different to the Conti's I run on my other set of rims, but about half the price!

Was me mate, you should have come over. What were you driving?

My day was brought to an early finish due to my brand new pads wearing out. Didn't realise how bad they were getting until I over shot a long straight. I have sent an email of complaint to the manufacturer as the last pads lasted nearly 2 years with a few ring trips and track days thrown in.

You won't of seen the calipers because of all the smoke coming off the pads

If I don't get a good response from my complaint to the manufacturer I'll let you know, the last set I got from them were brilliant and last nearly 2 years.

Jesus! Glad I never had that much trouble! Were you over by Phil's car? Had meant to make a point of heading over, but I always end up spending all my time on the track instead!

I was in a black M3 with a cut-down plate (chav-style) and normally parked by the Speed Religion garage when I wasn't trying to fry my brakes.
