Shame, took it for a trip this morning and this car drives so smoothly, so well. Really doesn't need anything doing/spending for a year....

I think they are over priced but the market will tell us if they are or not, I think there are 15 + for sale at the moment and know of 1or2 more who would like to sell to, time will tell

I also think buyers need to be comfortable with step up in price IMO.

Folks are waiting to see who blinks first.....then the wave of buyers will flow.

Then asking prices taken another step up.

E30 the same.

Rarely see Prosche owners talk the price of thier own cars down so much???

Annoying that so many have come up for sale all at once. Like me I guess they were waiting for a bit of sunshine. I don't feel its too cheap - if it was I'd have had a call by now and it would be sold.

Certainly I was clearly hoping my unique colour would help the sale ;-)

I sold my GT2RS on Monday. Another car which did 100 miles in 2 years. Ridiculous to be owning these things. At least the CSL has gone up in value!

I think he's a buyer not an owner :) Unless I missed something.

Well said Ian we agree on something, there is a good choice out there at the moment and has been for quite a time , I think there could be as many as 25+ for sale on PH in the coming months , 18 at the moment

That is a royal PITA as I hoped to sell mine quickly. Wonder if a price adjustment would see it fly out the door....

It's fairly simple supply and demand at it's best.

Prices went very strong which made more people willing to sell, but now you have more sellers than buyers ready to part with 30k+ on a ten year old toy.

Previously, if you had 30k+ to spend you could still end up in a bidding war, now you'd be able to haggle a bit I reckon.

Kinda strange given we're coming in to summer, you'd have thought lots of guys want to keep their CSL for one last summer but it seems everyone thought now would be a time to get the best price

Dare I say buyers market at the minute?

I wonder if people are strapped for cash right now. Sub 30's would see interest

I predict a third of the private sellers will u turn on selling once the weather really kicks in....happens every year..

If I had a pound for every time I've seen someone sell their rare car only to regret it a month later.....

... I'd be able to afford a CSL.

Has anybody noticed this one: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/e46-m3-00-06/bmw-3-series-e46-m3-csl------------------2003/2213266

It used to belong to a chap in Didsbury Manchester, who subsequently sold to fellow member 'kpnutz' (£26,995) who then sold it to Hexagon, they then sold it to the present owner, with an asking price was £33,995.
The present owner now has it for sale having only done just 300mls, his asking price £33,250 - Concluded; not all prices are going up :hahaha:

Looks like I sold at the right time then when there was only one other private CSL on the market! I do miss the CSL but a 12 year old m3 with all the toys is more fun to throw round a track because you don't worry about it!!

Not really....trade v private so apples/pears.

Only a small delta between (considered one of the most expensive) dealer sale and private sale is actually positive trend.

If Hex selling today, the price would be way in excess of £33,995

If previous sale private instead if Hex, price less than £33,250

Capisce??

Hi, some of the nick j ones that are listed are sold are they not? I have one (SG) had the wheels of the morning cleaning them inside and out, polishing them and painting the wheel nuts. This car is doing funny things to me!!
